That being said, long time no update. here's the skinny. I started assist instructing in Tae Kwon Do, which is awesome. I work with some awesome kids, the two of which I've been training personally. One is really outgoing for a young kid, and the other is autistic, but both are awesome. Work has highs and lows. I really, really hate working with racism, but I have to work with several bigoted racists. And some idiotic forty year olds who's idea of humor rivals that of a thirteen year old. On the other hand, it is nice to work for a corporation like Lexus, that really takes care of us employees, so that's cool. I really need to start making a plan of recording. Several months and I still don't have anything worth listening. I'll probably bring it into life rehearsal, so that could make for some groovy tunes. I really hate this whole racism thing, people are such narrow minded fools. Grr. Godzilla. | | |
| Good morning. Just an update, back from New(old) Hampshire. Long weekend, but a good one, Got to see some family I hadn;'t seen in about fifteen years. | | |
| I just came back from my tournament in Noblesville, which made for a long day. I managed to place third, which is good, but not what I had hoped for. I did manage to slam my opponent with a roundhouse to the head, which was nice. I'm thinking about going after tournaments a little more. The state tourney is in February, and if I can get in the top eight, I can compete in the National Tae Kwon Do tourney, which would be an awesome test of skill. That was a bit of a run on sentence. Anyhoo, my legs are sore, I'm tired, and Batman Begins isn't going to watch itself, so I believe I will call it a night.
Adieu, adieu, parting is such sweet, sweet sorrow...

| I fight in a Tae Kwon Do tournament in Noblesville on Saturday. This should be interesting. I've never competed with this kind of rules setup, only with karate. It's still for points, but it is full contact kicks, so it should be interesting. We're teaching on optimism in Tae Kwon Do. It was said that optimism is a chosen attitude, and I really liked that. I think it is something that we need to require of ourselves, that we must strive for. If we even so much as try for that kind of attitude, we can accomplish so much more with our lives. I want to make a difference with my life.
